ladies and gentlemen

 

On behalf of all the organizational committee the international festival of miniature and illumination and my self you are all warmly welcome to the inauguration reception of this festival which will be lasting until 20th of this month . we are witnessing . in this festival the participation of different artists from several from Turkey ; Iran; Syria; irk; Pakistan; Tunisia; Sudan; Morocco; India; France; Yemen; Jordan; and the country Algeria

This event is considered as an artistic gathering paint for you artists in your country Algeria . we can say undoubted fully that it is an enhancement for the elevated Muslim art and its servants acting to promote it and it as  maintaining art of our civilisation.

 

The main of the festival is to give us the opportunity to see to what extent the art of miniature and illumination and developed also to encourage and promote the artistic creation that the Muslim world showed at the service of this art.

It is definitely our duty to today.

Make this art an event that the artists expect and can share at all the artistic that are keen on the Muslim arts in general. We could also invite other countries  dealing with this art to develop it with their contributions such as the different working methods as well as the most recent techniques applied in it and that could be added to the wide human experience un this field.

 

Our president Mr Abdelaziz Bouteflika with his great care and generosity, offered us the possibility to make this event an annual one, it is the appointment of all those artist loving this art, coming from so many Arab and Muslim countries, what make us very confident to ward the future of the art of miniature an illumination  in the Muslim world.

 

This festival is one of the 110 others that the ministry of culture has accredited in all cultural and artistic fields and these us the evidence that a great importance is being given to the culture. It is also an opportunity to all the artists to share their works and creativity from the Iranian to the Arab, from the Turkish to the Algerian, all these works serve the same purpose that illumination that acts as a link between the cultures and the people.

I would like to seize this opportunity to announce the names of the jury members interested with the rewarding of the most distinguished works :

 

1- Djehich Mohamed (Algeria) chair person.

2- Bachir Yelles (Algeria) member.

3- Hakim El Akel (Yamane) member.

4- Mohamed Aghamiri (Iran)  member.

5- Mohamed Hamondi (Tunisia) member.

 

Please let me again focus on the fact that Algeria, the last country for this event, is very careful to create an atmosphere of artistic and exchange between all the participants, we wish that you will keep our contribution to the enrichment of this great art to finish; let me please wish a very nice stay to our guests in their country Algeria.

And now Mrs Zahira Yahi the president of the cultural office and the representative of the minister of culture, Mrs Khalida Toumi, is going to announce the official opening of this international festival of miniature and illumination
